
A lovely passing strike skelton clock attributable to the well known maker's, Evans of Handsworth, Birmingham. The timepuiece fusee movement has fine six spoke wheelwork, an anchor escapement and typical Evans ratchet, with the scroll shaped plates also typical of this maker. The hour is sounded on a single bell. The silvered dial is beautifully engraved between the black Roman numerals and has black Roman hour numerals and blued steel spade hands. All standing on an Evans style white marble base with glass dome.
