A Victorian French carriage clock, the eight day movement striking the hours and half hours on a gong with push button repeat, the backplate stamped with the serial number '1241'. The cream dial with stylised black Arabic numerals, a matt gilded mask and blued steel spade hands. Signed by the retailer 'W. Bruford & Son, Paris Made'. Made circa 1890. Contained in a gilded Anglaise case.
