A quite stunning miniature carriage clock, the timepiece movement with a platform lever escapement, five spoke wheelwork and numbered '247', contained in a gilded, finely cast brass case with caryatid figures to the four corners, floral decoration to the rest of the case and handle and with applied raised fretwork to the sides, back and mask to the white enamel dial which has blue Roman hour numerals and red Arabic five minute markings and decorative blued steel hands.
